We kept this salad amazingly simple today; however, if you wanted to add more ingredients you sure can. Here are a few ideas for you to consider.

Fruit in salads is just delicious and today we used strawberries; however, there are a wide variety of fruits that are amazing in salads. Here are a few to try; peaches, pears, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, apples, and mandarin oranges.

Nuts such as chopped walnuts, pecans, pistachios, or almonds would add a nice nutty flavor and crunch to the salad. While the spring greens are full of delicious and tender flavor, other options or additions could be butter lettuce, spinach, and if you wanted a bit heartier leaf iceberg lettuce or cabbage could be added.

Cheese on salads is another great option. Think about a fresh Parmesan, BellaVitano, Asiago, or a crumbled Feta cheese and how just a little would add to the taste.

Be creative when making your salad or keep it simple and quick. Either way, you are certain to end up with a delicious salad.
