With a crescent roll crust, this Cold Crescent Veggie Pizza Appetizer is sure to be the crowd favorite. Top it off with cream cheese spread and sprinkled veggies for some added crunch!
This appetizing dish has been in my recipe box since I was just starting out as a cook back then- but now that you know how good they are (trust me), make them often so everyone can enjoy their flavor too
People love finger food and it’s ideal for parties, holiday tables, office parties, bridal and baby showers, or an impromptu barbeque. I really can think of no situation where these delicious appetizers won’t work. This cold veggie pizza appetizer recipe is perfect for any gathering. In my opinion, the cream cheese and fresh vegetables make it so much more than just another boring vegetable plate.
In addition to adding your favorite veggies you can also change out the flavor or type of cheese (or both) which will result in an even tastier bite-sized dish. One appetizer I guarantee won’t last long at all on the table before everyone’s demolished them.

Veggie Pizza Ingredients
Crescent roll dough. Bake this in a jelly roll pan and you are all set with the crust.
The cream cheese spread. Just take softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and a packet of ranch dressing mix or vegetable recipe mix and mix by hand or use a handheld mixer to make this super creamy. I have used both the ranch and vegetable mix successfully. You can add a teaspoon of fresh dill for a great flavor option.
Vegetable Options for this cold pizza. Layer diced fresh vegetables on top of the cream cheese layer.
While there are suggested vegetables to be used on this pizza, you can adjust both the amount and type of vegetables to your personal preference. However, adding a variety of crunchy vegetables makes this taste so much better in my opinion.
In general, use approximately 4 cups of diced fresh vegetables. I do stress fresh vegetables; frozen or canned vegetables are too soggy and do not have that crunch or taste that the fresh vegetables do.
Dice the vegetables almost to a mince. This helps the vegetables stay on better. If you want to save time, a food processor is a great choice for veggie prepping. Make sure that you wash and dry the vegetables before dicing.

Some people like to add cheese to their homemade pizza, while others prefer to leave this off. This is another optional ingredient. Personally, we love our cheese and we do add it to our appetizer recipe.
Often, we add shredded cheddar cheese; however, other cheese that would work well with this recipe are Parmesan cheese, Mozzarella cheese, or a Colby/Jack cheese.
How to Make Cold Veggie Pizza Appetizer
