Instructions
In a large pot or Dutch oven add the olive oil, onion, carrots, and celery. Sauté for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.

Add the garlic and potatoes continue sauteing for 4 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
3 Tablespoons Garlic, 3 Medium Red Potatoes
Add the stock, sliced hot dogs, cabbage, corn, parsley, and better than bouillon flavoring. Cover and bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes until the potatoes and cabbage is tender.

Slow Cooker Cabbage Soup
This is one of those soup recipes that works well in a slow cooker too. Just add all your ingredients and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours.
Refrigerating and Freezing Cabbage Soup
Refrigerate in sealed in an airtight container for up to 3 days. This is a great soup to freeze up to 3 months.To reheat, I just reheat in the microwave one serving at a time. I actually prefer the soup after it has been refrigerated a day. All the great flavors have had a chance to become even better.
