Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a shallow casserole dish or 9x9-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
In a large bowl, add the cooked shredded chicken, diced green onion, and 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese. Mix to combine. Great options for the chicken are 3 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, 4 cups of rotisserie chicken, or 4 cans of white meat chicken. Set this aside.
3 Large Chicken Breasts, ½ Cup Green Onion, 1.5 Cups Mozzarella Cheese, 1.5 Cups Cheddar Cheese
In a medium saucepan, add the cubed cream cheese, ranch dressing, black pepper, garlic powder, and hot sauce. Heat over medium heat whisking constantly until the cream cheese is dissolved and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
8 Ounces Cream Cheese, 1 Cup Ranch Dressing, 1 Cup Hot Sauce, 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper, 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
Pour the sauce over the chicken mixture. Mix well to combine.
Transfer to the prepared baking pan and top with remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown and the chicken mixture is starting to boil. Remove and serve.
Some of our favorite dippers include crackers, tortilla chips, baguette slices, crackers, corn chips, or vegetables such as celery sticks, carrot sticks, cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes, or cauliflower florets.
Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Dip
This recipe is also perfect for the slow cooker, especially for parties.
Add all ingredients to the slow cooker.
Stir to combine.
Cook on LOW for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally.
Once the cheese is melted and the dip is hot, switch to the warm setting for serving.
Pro Tip. Serve the dip in the slow cooker and keep on low while your guests serve themselves.
