I first tried these ranch garlic mushrooms at a baby shower. They were so good that I had to find out who brought them and get the recipe. I was surprised by how simple they were to make.

Add the ingredients. Place the mushrooms in the slow cooker. Add the butter, ranch seasoning mix, and minced garlic. Stir to coat the mushrooms as evenly as possible.
Slow cook. Cover and cook on LOW for 2–3 hours, stirring once or twice during cooking, until the mushrooms are tender. Cooking time will vary depending on the size of the mushrooms and your slow cooker.
Stir and serve. Stir the mushrooms in the buttery ranch sauce before serving. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
Choose your mushrooms: White button mushrooms or baby bella mushrooms both work well. Whole mushrooms give you a heartier bite, while sliced mushrooms cook more quickly.
Add fresh herbs: Stir in fresh thyme or sprinkle chopped parsley over the mushrooms before serving.
Make the sauce creamier: Add a small splash of heavy cream near the end of cooking if you prefer a creamy sauce.
Add pearl onions: Frozen pearl onions make a nice addition. They will release moisture as they cook, so the finished sauce may be thinner.
Try the stovetop: Melt the butter in a large skillet, add the mushrooms, ranch seasoning, and garlic, and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms are tender and the liquid has reduced to your liking.
