In a small saucepan, add the sugar, water, lemon juice, and lime juice; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer 5 minutes. Cool.

Pour sauce over fruit, add the lemon zest and lime zest. Toss to coat. Chill 4 hours.

Make this fruit salad ahead of time. In fact, it is best to let this chill for 4 hours in the refrigerator for maximum flavors. However, you can make this up to three days in advance.
