Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
On a lightly floured surface, unfold the puff pastry sheets, following the fold lines, and gently smooth with a rolling pin if needed.
1 Package Puff Pastry
Spread the puff pastry dough on the floured surface. Divide each sheet into two rectangles along the long edge.
In a large bowl, mix the ground sausage, cream cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined. This will be your flavorful sausage filling.
Assemble the Sausage Rolls. Place equal portions of the sausage mixture down the center of each rectangle, shaping them into sausage logs.
Fold the edges of the pastry over the sausage filling, overlapping slightly. Place the roll seam side down on the parchment paper-lined baking tray.
Using a sharp knife, slice each log into desired sizes, typically 1-2 inches for bite-sized pieces.
Baking the Rolls. Brush the tops of each roll with the remaining egg wash to achieve a golden, shiny finish. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top if desired.
