24OuncesBlackberries2 (12 oz) packages of fresh blackberries or frozen blackberries, thawed
1Box Yellow Cake Mixor white cake mix for a lighter flavor
½CupButter1 stick of butter, melted
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Spread the blackberries evenly in the baking dish. If you’re using frozen fruit, be sure it’s thawed and drained of any excess liquid.
Sprinkle the entire cake mix evenly over the top of the berries. Don’t mix it—just pour the dry mix straight from the box.
Drizzle the melted butter mixture over the top of the cake mix, trying to cover as much of the surface as possible. This helps create that crispy, golden top.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbling.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a delicious treat.
