Making a Delicious Rotisserie Chicken Casserole

Here are the Minimal Ingredients – All-Purpose Flour – Onion – Garlic – Red Pepper Flakes – Salt – Pepper – Butter – Sour Cream – Milk – Cheddar Cheese – Mozzarella Cheese, I added this to the recipe it is not in the original recipe. – Cream of Celery Soup – Chicken cooked and diced. I like to use rotisserie chicken – Egg Noodles, cooked and drained

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the diced onion and sauté 1-2 minutes. Add the red pepper flakes, garlic, salt, pepper, and butter.  Cook two minutes more stirring occasionally.

Stir in the flour and cook until the flour is absorbed. Stir in the milk and 2 cups of cheese. Reserve 1 cup of cheese for casserole topping.

Once the cheese is melted add the chicken, sour cream, soup, and noodles into cheese mixture. Stir until the noodles are coated with mixture.

Pour mixture into a 9 X 13 baking dish prepared with cooking spray. Top with remaining cheese. Bake the casserole for 30 minutes, or until cheese is melted and sauce is bubbling.
