When making the cut out dog treats, pat out the dough on a generously floured surface to 1/2-inch thick. The dough will be a little sticky so flour the top of the dough too, so your hands do not stick. You could also use a rolling pin for this. Use a cookie cutter to cut out the shapes. We also used a fork to help get the dog bones cookie cut outs to the baking tray.
